Evernorth is bringing BearChamp into its plans for a potential Nasdaq debut under the XRPN ticker, combining its XRP treasury strategy with a community-focused collaboration built around the character created by Chicago artist JC Rivera.

The collaboration was announced September 23 as Evernorth continues preparations for its proposed business combination with Armada Acquisition Corp. II. If the transaction closes and listing conditions are satisfied, the combined company is expected to trade on Nasdaq under XRPN.

Evernorth Connects BearChamp to XRP Community

Evernorth described BearChamp as a fighter and XRP community member created by Rivera. The company said the character represents the experience of continuing to push forward after setbacks, which it sees as closely connected to the history of the XRP community.

Rivera’s story is central to the collaboration. According to Evernorth CEO Asheesh Birla, the Chicago artist created BearChamp as a representation of the fighter he had wanted to become, turning the character into a recurring symbol across his artwork and other creative projects.

Evernorth said the partnership will include apparel and storytelling, with additional material expected to appear as the company moves toward its planned public-market debut. The company also said the XRP community will have a more visible role in the campaign surrounding the potential listing.

The initiative gives Evernorth a way to connect its corporate identity with an existing XRP community character rather than treating the proposed Nasdaq transaction purely as a financial-market event. The company has framed community participation as part of the broader story behind its XRP-focused business.

The collaboration does not itself change Evernorth’s treasury structure or the terms of its proposed business combination. It is instead a communications and community initiative running alongside the company’s efforts to establish a publicly traded XRP treasury vehicle.

XRPN Listing Still Depends on the Armada Deal

Evernorth’s proposed Nasdaq listing remains conditional. Armada shareholders are scheduled to vote on the business combination on September 30, while the transaction also requires the satisfaction of customary closing and listing conditions.

The SEC has already declared Evernorth’s Form S-4 registration statement effective, allowing the shareholder process to move forward. That represents an important procedural step, but it does not mean the merger has already closed or that Evernorth has completed its Nasdaq debut.

Evernorth has positioned itself as an actively managed XRP treasury company rather than a vehicle designed simply to hold XRP. Its stated strategy includes managing the treasury, participating in XRP-based infrastructure and deploying capital across areas of the XRP ecosystem.

The company has also disclosed institutional backing from investors including Arrington Capital, SBI Group, Ripple, Pantera Capital, Kraken and GSR. Evernorth previously said the proposed transaction raised more than $1 billion in gross proceeds intended to support its XRP treasury strategy.

For the XRP community, the BearChamp campaign adds a cultural element to a corporate transaction that is otherwise centered on capital markets, treasury management and public-company infrastructure. Whether the collaboration develops into a broader brand remains to be seen, but Evernorth has clearly positioned it as part of the road toward the planned XRPN listing.

The immediate milestone remains the Armada shareholder vote and the subsequent closing process. Until those conditions are completed, Evernorth’s Nasdaq debut remains a planned transaction rather than a completed listing, while the BearChamp collaboration gives the company another way to engage XRP supporters ahead of the potential public-market launch.
