The Pi Network has formally introduced its Pi Ad Network, enabling developers to earn revenue from their applications by using in-app ads. To advertise their products or services within Pi apps, advertisers are required to purchase and use Pi, thus enhancing the cryptocurrency’s usability and circulation. After experiencing a significant drop of 60.57% over the past month, PI Coin seems to be on the rise again. In just the past 24 hours, PI has increased by 13.42%, resulting in a price of $0.6843. The launch of the Pi Ad Network may be driving this movement, allowing advertisers to display ads within the Pi ecosystem and the Pi App using PI as a currency. According to their report, the Pi network considers this a major advancement in its utility framework. According to the announcement, “The Ad Network represents the initial implementation of a platform utility that utilizes the collective resources of Pi Network to create genuine and practical applications for the Pi cryptocurrency.” Developers are now able to apply for membership in the Pi Ad Network, following the early participants of the pilot program who are currently generating ad revenue. Joining the network requires certain conditions: applications need to be included in the Mainnet Ecosystem Interface and must closely follow the guidelines set for the developer ecosystem. It stressed that submitting an application does not ensure that one will be accepted. Every application needs to fulfill the listing criteria of the Mainnet ecosystem in order to gain approval.
