SingularityNET and Privado ID Collaborate to Create a Decentralized Trust Registry for AI Agents

**Exciting News from Zug, Switzerland: March 4th, 2025 – Chainwire**

We’re thrilled to share that SingularityNET, a proud founding member of the Artificial Superintelligence (ASI) Alliance, has teamed up with Privado ID (formerly known as Polygon ID) to bring a new level of trust to the decentralized AI Agent ecosystem. Together, we’re launching the very first decentralized AI Agent Trust Registry and introducing AI Agent Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) to make this vision a reality.

By combining Privado ID’s innovative privacy-preserving decentralized identity technology with SingularityNET’s expertise in AI and the upcoming ASI Innovation Stack, we’re set to create verifiable on-chain attestations and credentials for AI agents. This will help ensure trust and safety in the interactions between users and AI Agents. These credentials will provide essential information about AI Agents, such as their models, creators, and audit status, enabling secure, trusted, and transparent interactions.

The AI Agent Trust Registry represents a major leap forward in the world of decentralized AI, empowering developers to deploy AI Agents with verified identities and attributes. By utilizing decentralized identifiers (DIDs) from Privado ID and verifiable credentials backed by zero-knowledge proofs, we’re exploring a transparent communication layer for integration within ASI:Create and the broader ASI Innovation Stack. This means users will be able to verify an Agent’s authenticity, safety, and fairness, creating a secure and interconnected AI network.

Dr. Ben Goertzel, CEO of ASI and SingularityNET, expressed his enthusiasm: “Our future won’t just be about how AI communicates with humans; it’s about how AI systems can seamlessly interact with one another. By incorporating Privado ID’s decentralized, privacy-first credentials into ASI:Create, we’re not only building trust but also laying the groundwork for a strong, autonomous network of AI agents.”

Sebastian Rodriguez, CPO of Privado ID and former VP of Product at Polygon, shared his excitement about this collaboration: “I’m thrilled about the partnership between Privado ID and SingularityNET, as it addresses the crucial need for verifiable identities in the agent-to-agent economy. By assigning unique, verifiable identities to AI agents, we ensure accountability and trust in their interactions, aligning perfectly with the ASI Innovation Stack’s vision of an open ecosystem that promotes interoperability and reduces dependence on centralized authorities.”

The rollout of the AI Agent Trust Registry and the testing of Privado ID’s identity infrastructure will take place in phases. We’ll start with an initial pilot that integrates Privado ID credentials with the AIRIS AI Agent, followed by a scalable registry that validates complex attributes like authenticity and safety using privacy-preserving zero-knowledge proofs. Eventually, we’ll explore self-governance concepts for AI Agents. This phased approach guarantees robust verification while maintaining complete data privacy, providing a secure foundation for long-term integration into the ASI roadmap. We’re excited to embark on this journey together!
