VeChain has launched StarGate, an advanced $VET staking platform that incorporates NFT utilities.

Following the successful launch of the Galactica testnet on March 31, 2025, Vechain’s next phase, known as Hayabusa, is set to commence. As stated in Vechain’s announcement, Hayabusa introduces a novel staking model and rewards that depend on users’ commitment to the network. This year, Vechain’s ecosystem has outlined a clear vision, showcasing its Roadmap through three significant phases: Galactica, Hayabusa, and Intergalactic. In March, we announced the launch of the Galactica testnet, which implemented a Dynamic Fee Market similar to Ethereum’s EIP-1559. This feature modulates gas fees in real-time according to the demand on the network. The Vechain network recently revealed on an X post that Hayabusa is on its way. This upcoming second phase is expected to introduce significant alterations to Vechain’s tokenomics. The Vechain team has launched a new Staking system called StarGate. “We’re thrilled to announce two robust community-developed simulators to assist you in getting ready for the StarGate launch and to estimate your possible VTHO rewards,” the post states. One of these is the VeChainStats VTHO Staking APY Estimator, which shows you the potential VTHO earnings from staking. VeChainStats enables users to calculate their potential returns considering their node tier, network stake, and additional factors.
