Ethereum, Solana and USDC Lead Santiment’s Top Trending Crypto Assets

Ethereum & Bitcoin

Ethereum, Solana and USD Coin are leading Santiment’s social activity rankings for Thursday, with the three assets drawing attention for different reasons. Santiment Intelligence identified ETH as the most discussed asset, followed by SOL and USDC, as traders and crypto users focused on Ethereum’s core utility and a planned Samsung Wallet integration for Solana-based USDC transfers.

Ethereum claimed the top position in Santiment’s latest social data. Discussions around ETH continue to center on its smart-contract ecosystem, gas-fee utility, staking and its role across decentralized finance and non-fungible tokens. These areas remain central to how users discuss Ethereum and its position within the broader digital asset market.

Ethereum Leads Crypto Discussions

Ethereum’s position at the top of the ranking highlights the continued attention surrounding the network’s broad range of applications. Unlike assets whose social activity may be driven primarily by short-term price movements, ETH discussions frequently involve the infrastructure built around the blockchain and its use across multiple sectors of the crypto economy.

Gas fees remain one of Ethereum’s most recognizable use cases for ETH. Users need the token to interact with applications on the network, while staking has created another major utility following Ethereum’s transition to proof-of-stake. DeFi applications and NFT markets also continue to contribute to the discussion surrounding ETH.

Solana ranked second in Santiment’s social activity data, with its position closely tied to a planned stablecoin integration involving Samsung Wallet. Samsung is reportedly preparing to add USDC transfers on Solana to Samsung Wallet for eligible users in the United States.

The planned rollout is expected to begin during the last week of October. If implemented as described, the integration could potentially expose Solana-based USDC transfers to a large existing user base of Samsung Galaxy devices in the U.S.

The potential reach is one reason the development has attracted attention. Santiment noted that the integration could eventually reach as many as 82 million devices, although that figure represents the potential addressable device base rather than a confirmed number of users who will actively use USDC transfers.

The development places Solana and USDC together in a major social narrative. Rather than the attention being driven solely by speculation around SOL’s price, the discussion is centered on a potential payment and transfer use case involving an established consumer technology platform.

USDC Gains Attention Through Samsung Integration

USD Coin ranked third among Santiment’s top trending assets, with the Samsung Wallet announcement serving as the main catalyst behind its social activity. USDC’s appearance in the ranking shows how infrastructure and distribution announcements can quickly shift attention toward a stablecoin even when the asset itself is designed to maintain a stable value.

The planned Samsung integration would allow eligible U.S. Galaxy users to transfer USDC through Samsung Wallet using Solana infrastructure. The potential combination of a widely used mobile wallet and blockchain-based stablecoin transfers is therefore becoming an important part of the conversation around both SOL and USDC.

For Solana, the development could reinforce the network’s position as infrastructure for stablecoin transactions. However, the eventual significance will depend on the rollout, eligibility, user adoption and the extent to which Galaxy owners actually use the feature once it becomes available.

For USDC, access through a mainstream mobile ecosystem could provide another channel for users to interact with dollar-denominated digital assets. Stablecoins are increasingly being discussed not only as trading instruments but also as tools for payments, transfers and moving value across digital networks.

Santiment’s ranking also demonstrates how different narratives can drive social attention across major cryptocurrencies. Ethereum is dominating discussions through its established smart-contract and staking ecosystem, while Solana and USDC are gaining momentum from a specific upcoming integration.

The three assets will remain worth watching as the Samsung Wallet rollout approaches. Ethereum’s continued dominance in social discussions, alongside growing attention around Solana and USDC, shows that crypto conversation is being shaped by both established network utility and new distribution channels for digital assets.
