IOTA Price Prediction: Can Real-World Adoption Trigger a New Bull Run?

IOTA is entering September with investors watching two stories at once: whether the network can convert its expanding infrastructure into meaningful adoption and whether the token can finally establish a durable recovery. A recent community post highlighted IOTA holding around the $0.04 area after a local DeFi oracle incident.

The combination of technical resilience and continued development has renewed debate over where IOTA could go in the next market cycle.

The oracle incident remains an important part of the story because it tested how the ecosystem responds when an application-layer vulnerability emerges. According to the community commentary, the affected Virtue protocol was temporarily impacted following a Switchboard oracle compromise, while IOTA validators moved to freeze affected assets. That response may limit damage, although incidents like this also demonstrate that application security remains separate from the security of the underlying network.

IOTA Is Building Beyond the Crypto Market

The bigger development is IOTA’s growing focus on trade infrastructure. The IOTA Foundation has made TWIN, its Trade Worldwide Information Network, a central part of its strategy, with the project expanding its presence in the UK’s Digital Trade Testbed and establishing connections with Kenyan trade agencies.

That direction gives IOTA a different investment narrative from tokens whose primary use case remains speculation. TWIN is designed around digitizing trade processes and creating shared infrastructure for businesses, governments and other participants. If these deployments eventually produce significant recurring network activity, they could provide a stronger fundamental foundation for IOTA’s long-term valuation.

The ADAPT initiative adds another dimension to that strategy by focusing on trade and supply-chain infrastructure across Africa. The broader objective is to make digital trade documentation and verification easier across fragmented markets. For IOTA holders, the important question is whether these initiatives eventually translate into sustained economic activity rather than simply producing successful pilot programs.

Technology development is continuing alongside the enterprise push. IOTA’s Rebased architecture introduced Move-based Layer 1 programmability, while the project’s longer-term technical vision includes bringing additional execution environments such as EVM capabilities closer to the Layer 1. The Foundation has argued that greater Layer 1 activity could increase network usage and associated token utility.

The recent migration to Pyth Pro, highlighted by the community post, is also intended to strengthen market-data infrastructure. Faster and more reliable data feeds can matter considerably for DeFi applications, particularly when lending, trading and automated systems depend on accurate price information. Still, infrastructure improvements should be viewed as supporting pieces of the ecosystem rather than automatic drivers of token price.

What Could IOTA Do in the Next Bull Run?

From a market perspective, the $0.0398 area highlighted by traders is an important short-term reference point. Holding that region would give bulls a base from which to attempt a move through nearby resistance. A sustained break above local resistance, followed by higher highs, would provide stronger evidence that the market is beginning to change direction.

The next milestone would be reclaiming the weekly 50 EMA and pushing decisively above $0.0718. That level matters because a move above it would represent a significant improvement in IOTA’s medium-term price structure. It could also shift market attention toward psychological levels such as $0.10.

Beyond $0.10, the upside becomes increasingly dependent on the strength of the broader altcoin market. A move toward $0.15 or $0.20 would require substantially more buying pressure, while $0.30, $0.50 and $1 would represent progressively more ambitious bull-market scenarios. None should be treated as guaranteed targets.

IOTA’s fundamentals give traders something different to monitor during such a rally. The network is positioning itself around trade, tokenization, digital identity and programmable assets, while its technical roadmap continues to expand its execution capabilities. The Foundation describes IOTA as infrastructure intended for real-world applications rather than simply another cryptocurrency network.

For the IOTA community, that distinction could become increasingly important if the next crypto cycle rewards projects with measurable usage. TWIN’s trade deployments, continued protocol development and ecosystem infrastructure provide potential catalysts, but adoption must ultimately scale beyond pilots and partnerships. The token still has to prove that increased network utility can create sustained demand.

IOTA therefore enters the next phase with a potentially stronger fundamental story but a chart that still requires confirmation. Holding support, breaking local resistance and reclaiming $0.0718 would give bulls increasingly credible evidence of a reversal. If those conditions arrive alongside expanding real-world adoption, IOTA could have a much stronger case for a sustained recovery during the next altcoin bull run.
