XRP Ledger Hits Record 8.24 Million Wallets as Network Growth Accelerates
The XRP Ledger (XRPL) has reached a record 8.24 million non-empty wallets, according to data shared by market intelligence platform Santiment, as network participation continues to grow despite months of price volatility. The milestone comes with XRP trading near $1.36, placing the token close to the $1.40 level that Santiment identified as the first price threshold to watch.
Santiment also reported that the network added 4,772 new wallets in a single day, marking the fifth-largest daily increase since March. The data suggest that new address creation has accelerated again, although wallet growth alone does not establish how many new users have joined or whether the activity will translate into sustained buying demand.
The combination of a record wallet count and a sharp increase in new addresses gives XRP holders a measurable adoption indicator to monitor alongside price action. However, the next move will depend on whether network growth persists and whether XRP can hold or break through key price levels.
XRP Wallet Growth Reaches a New Milestone
A non-empty wallet is an address that holds some amount of an asset. The XRPL reported total of 8.24 million non-empty wallets indicates that the number of funded addresses has reached a new high, extending a growth trend that Santiment says has continued through periods of market volatility.
The distinction between total wallets and new wallets is important. The total reflects the accumulated number of addresses holding assets, while daily new-wallet figures offer a snapshot of how quickly additional addresses are appearing. Santiment’s reported 4,772-wallet increase stands out because it ranks among the largest daily spikes since March.
Even so, wallet counts are not equivalent to unique investors. One person can control several addresses, and exchange or service providers may operate wallets on behalf of many customers. Changes in address balances and account activity can also affect the figures without necessarily indicating new long-term holders.
For that reason, the latest data provide evidence of expanding onchain participation rather than conclusive proof of a corresponding increase in individual investors or economic activity. Sustained growth, transaction activity and broader usage would help clarify whether the increase represents a lasting change in adoption.
Santiment’s analysis frames the rising wallet count as a potentially constructive signal for XRP. For that signal to become more convincing, however, the network would need to maintain elevated wallet creation while the token’s price shows strength rather than relying on address growth alone.
XRP Price Levels Put $1.40 and $1.50 in Focus
With XRP trading near $1.36 in Santiment’s report, $1.40 is the first price level to monitor. The analytics platform suggested that a sustained move above $1.40, combined with daily new-wallet creation remaining near or above 4,000, would make a return to $1.50 plausible.
That scenario depends on two conditions: price confirmation and continued network growth. A move above $1.40 without sustained participation would offer a weaker adoption signal, while rising wallet creation alongside a price breakout could indicate that network activity and market momentum are moving in the same direction.
Santiment also outlined a downside scenario. If XRP falls below $1.30 while daily new-wallet creation drops back under roughly 3,000, the bullish interpretation of the latest adoption data would become less convincing in the short term. These levels are analytical reference points, not guaranteed support or resistance.
The relationship between wallet growth and price is not automatic. New addresses can increase during periods of speculation without creating lasting demand, while prices can rise or fall in response to liquidity, broader cryptocurrency market conditions and investor positioning.
For XRP holders, the record 8.24 million non-empty wallets provide a clear network milestone, and the 4,772 new wallets reported in one day add evidence of renewed participation. The key question is whether that growth persists as XRP approaches $1.40.
A sustained breakout accompanied by continued wallet creation would strengthen the case that rising participation is supporting market sentiment. A retreat below $1.30 alongside slowing address growth would point to a less convincing short-term picture. Until those conditions develop, the data remain an encouraging adoption signal rather than confirmation of a price rally.
