XRP Price Prediction: $49.7 Billion in On-Chain Activity Puts $2 Target in Focus

XRP Transaction Volume Hits $49.7 Billion as Ali Charts Flags $1.25 Bottom

XRP is drawing renewed attention after crypto analyst Ali Charts reported a sharp increase in the dollar value of assets transferred on the XRP Ledger as the token traded near the $1.25 support level. According to the analyst, on-chain transfer value climbed to $49.70 billion during the latest activity spike, coinciding with a price rebound. Ali Charts suggested the combination could indicate that XRP has established a market bottom, with $2 emerging as a potential recovery target if support holds.

The claim puts the focus on whether rising blockchain activity can help sustain XRP’s recovery. A surge in transfer value can reflect increased movement of assets across a network, but it does not automatically mean investors are buying XRP or that new capital is entering the market. Transfers may include exchange movements, payments, liquidity management and other activity that does not directly indicate bullish sentiment.

For XRP traders, the $1.25 level is central to the current argument. Ali Charts views it as a critical support area, with the reported activity spike providing a possible sign that buyers are becoming more active around that price. However, one rebound and one reported on-chain metric are not enough to confirm a durable bottom. Price direction will depend on whether buyers continue to defend the level and whether market demand strengthens.

Why the $49.7 Billion XRP Ledger Figure Matters

The reported $49.70 billion figure refers to the dollar value of coins transferred on-chain, according to Ali Charts. It should not be interpreted as $49.70 billion in fresh investment entering XRP, nor does it necessarily represent the amount of XRP bought and sold on exchanges. Transaction value measures movement across the ledger, while trading volume and net capital flows describe different forms of market activity.

Even with that distinction, a sudden rise in on-chain transfers can be useful when assessed alongside price action and other indicators. Increased activity near a support level may suggest that market participants are repositioning, moving assets or responding to volatility. To determine whether the spike signals accumulation, analysts would need additional evidence, such as exchange inflows and outflows, changes in holder balances, trading volume and the number of active addresses.

The timing of the reported increase is also important. If transfer activity remains elevated while XRP holds above $1.25, it could strengthen the case that the level is attracting sustained interest. If activity quickly returns to normal or the price falls below support, the initial spike may prove to have been temporary rather than the start of a broader trend.

Can XRP Rally Toward $2?

Ali Charts argues that XRP could move toward $2 if the $1.25 support level continues to hold. From $1.25 to $2, the implied price increase is 60%, making the target a substantial recovery rather than a modest short-term move. Reaching it would likely require sustained buying pressure and a supportive broader crypto market, not simply one increase in on-chain transfer value.

The first question is whether XRP can maintain support. A sustained break below $1.25 would weaken the analyst’s bottom thesis and could expose the token to further selling. Conversely, repeated rebounds from the level, accompanied by stronger spot-market demand, would provide more convincing evidence that buyers are defending the area.

Traders should also distinguish between a technical target and a confirmed forecast. Support levels can fail, and large transaction values do not guarantee that a price reversal will continue. Market-wide liquidity, Bitcoin‘s direction, investor sentiment and XRP-specific developments can all influence the outcome.

For long-term XRP holders, the reported spike offers a reason to monitor ledger activity, but it does not settle the question of whether the market has bottomed. The most useful confirmation would come from several indicators pointing in the same direction: XRP holding above $1.25, sustained buying volume and continued price strength. Until that evidence develops, Ali Charts’ $2 target remains a conditional bullish scenario rather than an established outcome.
