Avalanche is seeing a sharp increase in social activity around AVAX, with LunarCrush reporting that 1,448 accounts posted about the project in a single day. According to the analytics platform, that was the highest daily figure recorded over the past month.
The increase is notable because it represents a substantial jump from the previous day. LunarCrush said 903 accounts had posted about Avalanche the day before, meaning the latest reading added more than 500 accounts in just 24 hours.
Avalanche Social Activity Accelerates
LunarCrush also reported roughly 2.7 million engagements related to Avalanche. That figure represented a one-month high for the project and was approximately three times the level recorded during a normal day in September, according to the platform.
The data suggests that the recent attention is not coming only from the usual group of Avalanche-focused accounts. LunarCrush specifically highlighted the appearance of accounts that had not been posting about Avalanche during the previous week.
That distinction matters when assessing social activity. A rise in the number of unique accounts discussing a cryptocurrency can indicate that a topic is reaching a wider audience, although social engagement by itself does not establish whether those users intend to buy, hold or use AVAX.

The increase also comes as Avalanche enters a period of several major developments. The network is scheduled to activate its Helicon upgrade on September 22, with changes covering staking economics, validator requirements, minimum staking durations and Continuous Execution on the C-Chain.
Avalanche has also been attracting attention from the institutional asset-management sector. New York Life Investment Management selected Avalanche as the underlying blockchain for its first tokenized investment fund, giving the network another connection to the growing tokenization market.
That fund involves the firm’s U.S. High Yield Corporate Bond Strategy and is being brought onchain through Centrifuge. The development does not mean New York Life has committed its broader assets under management to Avalanche, but it does provide another institutional use case for the network.
AVAX Attention Meets Broader Avalanche Developments
Recent activity around Avalanche extends beyond tokenized funds. The network is also preparing for the Helicon upgrade, which Avalanche says will introduce auto-renewed staking, shorter minimum staking durations and Continuous Execution for the C-Chain.
These developments provide a possible backdrop for the increase in social attention, but the available data does not establish a direct cause-and-effect relationship. Social platforms can react quickly to price movements, announcements, speculation and broader market narratives.
AVAX itself has also experienced a significant move in recent sessions. Market reports showed the token trading around $11 on September 20 after a sharp rebound, although cryptocurrency prices can change substantially over short periods.
The combination of price movement, institutional tokenization announcements and an approaching network upgrade gives traders several reasons to discuss Avalanche at the same time. That can create a feedback loop in which market activity generates social attention and increased attention brings more traders into the conversation.
However, the LunarCrush numbers should not be interpreted as proof that Avalanche adoption has increased by the same amount. Social posts and engagements measure attention, not transactions, active users, developer activity or capital entering the ecosystem.
For AVAX holders and Avalanche users, the more important question will be whether the current increase in attention develops into sustained activity after the immediate news cycle fades. The coming weeks should provide a clearer picture as the Helicon upgrade goes live and institutional projects progress.
For now, LunarCrush’s latest reading shows that Avalanche has moved significantly higher on the social radar, with 1,448 accounts discussing the project and roughly 2.7 million engagements in one day. Whether that attention translates into lasting ecosystem activity remains a separate question.
