TRON Surpasses $30 Trillion in Cumulative Transaction Volume as Stablecoin Settlement Hits $2.21 Trillion

TRON has surpassed $30 trillion in cumulative transaction volume, marking another milestone for a blockchain network widely used for stablecoin transfers. The announcement from TRON DAO comes alongside third-quarter figures showing $2.21 trillion in stablecoin settlement, a combined USDT and USDD supply of $93.88 billion, and $28.21 billion in total value locked (TVL). Monthly active addresses also reached 18 million, representing a reported increase of 9.8%.

These figures highlight TRON’s position in stablecoin infrastructure, where transaction costs, transfer speed and access to dollar-pegged assets can influence how users move money. However, cumulative transaction volume measures activity across the network over time, while quarterly settlement, token supply and TVL capture different aspects of its current usage.

TRON’s Stablecoin Activity Reaches $2.21 Trillion in Q3

The reported $2.21 trillion in stablecoin settlement is one of the central figures in TRON’s third-quarter performance. Stablecoins are used for cryptocurrency trading, transfers between wallets, payments and moving dollar-linked value between platforms. A blockchain that supports large volumes of these transfers can serve as an important settlement layer for users and businesses operating across digital asset markets.

TRON’s combined USDT and USDD supply stood at $93.88 billion, according to the supplied figures. USDT, issued by Tether, is one of the largest dollar-pegged stablecoins and is used across multiple blockchain networks. USDD is a separate stablecoin associated with the TRON ecosystem. The combined figure reflects their reported supply, not the amount of stablecoins transferred during the quarter.

The distinction between supply and settlement matters when evaluating network activity. Stablecoin supply indicates the quantity of tokens in circulation or represented by the reported metric, while settlement volume measures transfers over a period. The same tokens can move repeatedly, meaning transaction volume can exceed the total supply by a wide margin without implying that an equivalent amount of new capital entered the ecosystem.

TRON DAO also reported $28.21 billion in TVL. Total value locked generally measures assets deposited in decentralized finance protocols and other supported app
